The Leesburg Garden Club planted a Native Tree Walk at Ida Lee Park in downtown Leesburg, Virginia in 2015, our Centennial Year. Read More.

On May 18, 2016 at the Town of Leesburg Annual Business Awards Ceremony, the Leesburg Garden Club was awarded the Environmental Award for the Native Tree Walk. The Environmental Award celebrates a business or organization that leads or participates in activities that benefit the environment through its business practices and policies. These businesses/organizations demonstrate the lasting benefit of an environmental program, promotion or event that has had a positive impact of the "green" nature of Leesburg.

On April 6, trees which had suffered problems were replaced with new trees donated by the Garden Study Club. Leesburg Garden Club members oversaw the replacement plantings.
