The Leesburg Garden Club, founded in 1915, celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2015!

The object of the Club shall be to promote active interest in gardening and to assist in the protection and development of the natural beauties of the State.

The Club flower is the iris.

The Leesburg Garden Club planted a Native Tree Walk at Ida Lee Park in downtown Leesburg, Virginia in 2015 our Cenntennial Year. Click here to see descriptions of the trees we have planted.

On May 18, 2016 at the Town of Leesburg Annual Business Awards Ceremony, the Leesburg Garden Club was awarded the Environmental Award for the Native Tree Walk. The Environmental Award celebrates a business or organization that leads or participates in activites that benefit the environment through its business practices and policies. These businesses/organizations demonstrate the lasting benefit of an environmental program, promotion or event that has had a positive impact of the "green" nature of Leesburg.
